The Federal Tax Authority (FedTax.net) has been organized to enable fair and true sales tax neutrality, ensuring a "level playing field" for local businesses and remote sellers alike while simultaneously stimulating local municipalities with additional tax revenues. We feel it is important to note that we are not advocating or suggesting any new taxes. We are simply enabling remote sellers to easily calculate and remit already voter-approved local sales taxes. FedTax.net is preparing to introduce an easy-to-use service for remote sellers to determine precisely the correct amount of sales tax due for any transaction. We will do this by providing web-accessible services to allow merchants to quickly determine applicable sales tax rates (including state, county, city, and localized taxes). We are not a government agency. We are a private company organized under the laws of the State of Washington. |
